We recently used Multi Electrical Services for electrical work throughout our new home, and Steve — the owner — was fantastic from start to finish. He installed new sockets across the house, including our patio area, and the workmanship was spot‑on: neat, safe, and clearly done with real pride. What really stood out was Steve himself. He’s got a great sense of humour and a warm, easygoing disposition that instantly puts you at ease. It makes a huge difference having someone in your home who’s not only professional and knowledgeable but also genuinely pleasant to deal with. Reliable, tidy, and excellent at what he does. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Multi Electrical Services.

Steve quickly located a tricky and potentially dangerous problem which had taken out the lighting circuit in the house we had recently bought. This raised further questions about the condition of the electrics in the house and we agreed that a full EICR was needed. Following the inspection a programme of remedial work was agreed along with the installation of a new consumer unit. Throughout the whole process Steve, aided by Harvey, had a totally professional, flexible, pragmatic and friendly approach. I have every confidence in Steve and wholeheartedly recommend his services. As a lesson now learnt, I also recommend that anyone buying a new property should have an EICR before purchase, things aren’t always as they might seem.

From initial phone enquiry to replacing our bathroom extractor fan took less than a week. There is an easy to use and efficient electronic booking system with multiple choice appointments to suit your availability. Steve and Harvey arrived at the allocated time, were very professional, courteous and carried out the work to a very high standard in the allotted time frame. We have no hesitation in recommending MES Oakham and will definitely book them again.

A huge thank you to Steve from Multi Electrical Services! I had drilled into a live wire (stupidly), lost power an all the sockets and Steve came to the rescue at short notice, fixed everything perfectly and provided excellent communication throughout (especially as we weren’t home at that time). Our first time using MES to carry out our EICR inspection. Steve and Harvey were very professional and thorough and even found time to fit a light for us. We already have MES booked for some follow-up work to the inspection and will be using them for other jobs on our to do list.

I phoned regarding a plug socket that wasn’t working. An appointment was made for the very next day and true to time the socket was fixed. How refreshing it is for a company to take on the small jobs as well as the large ones. We will certainly be using MES again.

Steve and his team are an absolute pleasure to work with! An efficient web-based system for quotes and bookings means no more shot-in-the-dark attempts to catch someone when they’re free for a call - a great start. Harvey (the electrician on the day) was polite and respectful, very accommodating of some last-minute changes on the day and made the effort to check that I was satisfied with the fit and finish of each job before moving onto the next. The property was left clean and tidy and he would’ve even vacuumed after himself had I not said not to worry about it. A courtesy call from Steve to check I was satisfied with the work before sending an invoice topped off an all round professional service. I wouldn’t call anyone else now! Thanks Steve and Harvey.

With a lot of failed light fittings, with the change of the clocks to GMT it suddenly became apparent how dark the house had become. Steve was able to fit us in at short notice and replace over 20 fittings in half a day at a very reasonable rate. An excellent service.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Steve. His response times were excellent turning up exactly when he said he would. Work was too a very high standard and included a full survey, necessary re-wiring and fitting of a new consumer unit. All for a competitive and fair price.

As always a great job. Steve has done a number of jobs, from putting up new lights, inside and outside, wiring in a new cooker, up-grading our consumer unit and tracking down a fault with our dish washer. He’s always been a trusted and hardworking man and we wouldn’t call anyone else. Oh, and he doesn’t have sugar in his tea! Thanks for all your help.

Steve completed an electrical installation for us, and we could not fault the service. Steve attended the property to discuss the work at the agreed time, supplied a quotation promptly, and arrived at the arranged time to complete the work. It was easy to book a slot for the quote and for the work to be undertaken, through a digital calendar. The invoice was prompt and we received a video showing the completed work (which was undertaken at a rental property). All in all this was a 5 star experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend.

Great service and very helpful. MES rescued me in a DIY crisis. Ran into a problem with replacing a broken light switch with a new one that didn’t work on a Sunday evening. Txt’d MES more in hope than expectation and got an instant positive reply. They looked me one out from their parts bin which I collected a few minutes later.
