When buying and selling a home the electrics are often over looked and not even considered. We’re often asked to fit Class 1 accessories (Metal lights, sockets and switches) but on inspection finding out there is no cpc (earth wire) or rcd (residual current device) to allow the disconnection in the event of a fault… in short were not allowed to fit them as all of our work conforms to the latest regulations!
